Cisne Negro Dance Project
|
November 2008 I was involved in a challenging project, initiated by Nico Okkerse of Silent Disco. I wrote compositions based on cello suite no. 1 in G of Joh. Seb, Bach. A choreopgraphy was made my dutch dancer Pieter de Ruiter and performed by the renowned modern dance company form Sao Paulo, Cisne Negro. The audience were wearing headphones with two channels, so they had a great interactive power in how to experience this project. Channel 1: Bach, Channel 2: Fondse, Out: no sound. I concieved my music in a way that the music of Bach was synchronized, so the dancers were performing in pefrfect sync. We played concerts in Sao Paulo (3), Santos and Santo Andre. Here is a movie clip of the project: |
