In may we recorded a beautiful new album at Studio Fattoria Osnabrueck that will be released in the fall of 2008. The album is recorded and mixed by Chris Weeda.
We also gave a stunning debut concert at the BIM Huis, Amsterdam. Recorded by VPRO radio and filmed. You can find the concert at:

Phantom of the Cinema to the Oscars
Martin Fondse composed a spectacular sound track for the animation film THE PHANTOM OF THE CINEMA of director/animator and good friend Erik van Schaaik THE PHANTOM OF THE CINEMA is chosen to be the Dutch short animated film to go to the Oscars.
THE PHANTOM OF THE CINEMA will premiere soon. It will then visit the Holland Animation Film Festival and the Nederlands Filmfestival.

Piano na Praca, Brazil
On august 9 Martin played piano solo at Piano na Praca, Sao Paulo Brazil. Of this concert a documentary has been made and it will be broadcasted on Youtube very soon!
'Waterfront' for Eric Vloeimans & Rotterdam Kamer Orkest
On august 31 Rotterdams Kamerorkest premiered the new compostion 'Waterfront' , a tribute to the film music of the 50-ies with star solist Eric Vloeimans on trumpet. To listen to Movement I click HERE
Other Projects in 2008
On initiative of Nico Okkerse (No DJ) of Silent Disco Martin writes new music to a special dance project with choreographers Pieter de Ruiter and Eva Villanueva for dance company Cisne Negro from Sao Paulo. Premiere November 9 2008.
Martin also wrote a film score for 'Witte Hond', new film by Natasja Andre de la Porte and contributes music to the new film of Dick Tuinder. A collaboration with musician/composer Sonja van Hamel, with whom he worked together at the highly acclaimed production 'The Bauer Melody of 2006'. Recordings in October 2008.
