Ernst Reijseger Tour 2008

This is were it all begun for me in Brazil: a tour with cellist Ernst Reijseger. An inspiring experience with concerts with a.o. Nana Vasconcelos and some surprising and touching workshops in the favelas. We met the organizers from Estrela Nova and Corrente Viva, two social organisations that constructed schools and environments for young children to get in touch with culture and sports.

Ever since, I go regularly to one of these schools in the favelas and play music with the children there. On the video you will see a workshop of Ernst in Belem on a music school for young cellists!
